When’s the last time you’ve called them? Sometimes we a need a combination of visual and auditorial, external stimulants to remind us of how close or how far we truly are from each other. This installation was created in hopes of conjuring up those thoughts, emotions and stories. Opening the viewers inner monologue in self and external explorations.
In this installation, tdawxg created a visual interpretation of strength, fragility and distance between loved ones. Interwoven strings of lights are suspended between painted portraits, representing the distance between people as well as the invisible threads that bind them.
